Date for your diary – the CiteAb awards are BACK!

We’ve just finalised our plans for the 2020 CiteAb awards, which are looking to feature some really exciting new categories in addition to seeing the return of some old favourites.

CiteAb product manager Alicia Cooper says: “This year we see a milestone CiteAb Awards, as we look back on the decade just passed and crown not only those seeing success over the last year, but the real shining lights of the whole decade.

“The awards will cover all areas for which we have data – including antibodies, biochemicals, instruments, kits, scienitific images and more.

“We’ll be highlighting the companies and individuals that have really stood the test of time and are set to continue strongly into the twenties and beyond.

“Many of our categories allow self nomination, and as the saying goes ‘you have to be in it to win it’ – so make a note now of the closing date for the awards and make sure your company is in with a chance of global recognition for its efforts.

“Other categories in the awards are made based on CiteAb data and will highlight companies that are seeing significant success based on how often their products are cited in academic literature.”

The CiteAb awards for 2020 open for nominations on Wednesday 27th November. Categories will be announced on this day.

The closing date for entries is Friday 21st February at midnight GMT. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Any questions about the awards can be sent to the awards team at CiteAb who will be more than happy to help out.

Alicia adds: “Over the coming weeks we plan to run some pieces about the awards on our blog which might help with making your nominations – including what makes a great nomination and what our judges will be looking for. Do keep and eye out for these posts!”

In the meantime, the winners of last years’ awards can still be seen at https://www.citeab.com/awards
