Rising ImmunoStar – Neuroscience specialists

ImmunoStar are based in Hudson, Wisconsin, USA and have a main focus in neuroscience. Many of their antibodies are also used in other tissues such as spinal cord and adrenals.

Colleen Hammer, Director of Operations, explains what makes their antibodies special; “Our line is well-characterized, with high-quality primary antibodies, some of which have been offered for thirty years. All antibodies sold by ImmunoStar are tested using immunohistochemistry and only those with the greatest staining results are sold.  Because the antibodies are used successfully by so many researchers and published in more than a thousand papers with various techniques and species, customers can be confident to know what to expect with ImmunoStar’s antibodies.

Customer service
“Just as important as the quality of antibodies is customer service.  We welcome calls for technical assistance and are often able to resolve questions or issues for customers.  Every one of our customers is important to us and we try to exceed expectations wherever possible.  The bottom line is that we pride ourselves in thinking long-term and recognizing that our customers as well as our reputation are both extremely important”.

Discounts
“We understand the grants and funding issues so many researchers face, which is one reason we started the “Customer Review” Program.  Customers can earn 50% off the purchase of antibodies in exchange for sharing their protocols and results with us”.

CiteAb special offer
Immunostar want to highlight five new antibodies:   VIAAT Antibody (# 20092), VMAT1 Antibody (# 20041), VMAT2 Antibody (# 20042), NK1 Antibody (# 20060) and NK3 Antibody (# 20061).   “All five produce excellent IHC staining using rat tissue.  Because they are so new and therefore not cited in many articles, we will give one of these antibodies to the first ten people that mention this blog to us – FREE.  We ask that in return the researcher keeps us informed of their results using the antibodies with a review and any publication data”.  Send an email to info@immunostar.com to take advantage of this offer.

ImmunoStar has changed its name over the years; it began as Immuno Nuclear in 1982, changed to INCSTAR in 1986, DiaSorin in 1996, and finally to ImmunoStar in 2001.  While the company name has changed over the years the antibodies have stayed the same.
