Last week, the CiteAb team attended AACR in San Diego! This event was a fantastic few days, engaging with current partners, and meeting new suppliers.
It also provided a wonderful opportunity to meet with the winners of the 2025 CiteAb Awards in person and present their trophies and certificates.
The CiteAb Awards continue to celebrate the very best in the research reagent sector. 17 different organisations were recognised in this year’s awards, and the calibre of nominations made our independent judging panels jobs even more difficult!
You can see the full list of winners and more details about the categories over on our awards website.

CiteAb Awards Overview
In 2025, we featured 14 award categories, spanning innovative research applications and educational resources, to companies growing their citation share in specific research areas or with particular product types.
We received over 100 nominations, and our independent judging panels worked hard to evaluate entries in the nomination-based categories. The competition reflected the high standard of work across the sector.
For our data-driven awards, we used the CiteAb database to identify companies demonstrating significant growth and impact through reagent citation counts. Categories spanned antibodies, multiplex immunoassays, growth factors, and more.
Day-by-Day Award Presentations at AACR
Day 1:
To kick off the event, we met with Abcam to present the Antibody Supplier Succeeding in Genetics Research Award. They were also named as Highly Commended in the Recombinant Antibody Supplier of the Year category.
Following this, we were delighted to hand over the Researchers’ Choice Award to Proteintech. This Award asks researchers to nominate a company that has impressed them in the last year. As well as this, Proteintech were named as Highly Commended in the Educational Resource of the Year Award for the Proteintech Learning Portal.
We wrapped up the day by handing over an Award to Leinco Technologies who were highly commended in the Researchers’ Choice category, demonstrating support for scientists in their work.

Day 2:
On Monday morning in Chicago we started the day by meeting with the Jackson ImmunoResearch team, who were named as highly commended in the Secondary Antibody Supplier of the Year Award.
We then met with ABclonal, who were awarded Highly Commended in the Antibody Supplier to Watch in Europe category. As a pivotal market in the antibody space, they displayed impressive growth in citation count here.
We then handed over an Award to MilliporeSigma, who were named Highly Commended in the Fasting Growing Bioactive Small Molecule in Cancer Research for their A9789 Anisomycin from Streptomyces griseolus product.
