You have just under one month to enter into the 2022 CiteAb Awards!

Environmental initiatives are important ways for the life science sector to take responsibility and reduce impact on the environment. Both CiteAb and I personally have an active interest in green change, so we’re excited to be running this award again this year.

Previous winners have included GenScript and ThermoFisher. GenScript implemented a successful tree planting programme in which a tree was bought for each customer that went paperless with them. Since 2018, this has resulted in 127,664 trees being planted! ThermoFisher actioned a waste reduction initiative by developing a fully recyclable version of the polystyrene cooler commonly used for shipping chilled products.

This award seeks to recognise and reward those companies with innovative and thriving environmental initiatives. Our judging panel will include a diverse mix of outstanding individuals passionate about green change, who have experience in driving sustainable practises in the workplace.

What will our judges be looking for?

Our judges will be on the lookout for novel and exciting initiatives, which show the potential for real impact.

A concise description of your company’s initiative, with compelling reasons for how the initiative will have or has had noticeable effects, will be evaluated. The innovation demonstrated and successes need to be outlined succinctly. As with all our awards, we will be looking at the quality of the single nomination, so the amount of entries is not important.

If there are any questions do not hesitate to contact the awards team for clarification. Be sure to have a look at our awards website for further nomination-based categories you may be eligible to enter in!

Nominations close on the 21st February and winners will be announced on the 21st March.

Good luck to all those entering!
