Millipore close on Santa Cruz in neuroscience market
We have released a new dataset today which highlights leading antibody suppliers and the top cited antibodies by research area.
One of the research areas we have looked at is neuroscience research – where we have analysed 17,000 citations for 6,900 antibodies, supplied by 67 different companies.
Claiming the lion’s share of the neuroscience research antibody market we see Santa Cruz Biotechnology with 18.37% of the market, but just fractionally behind Millipore has secured 18.32%. Millipore also top the antibody list in this research area, with 931 citations for its ‘Anti-NeuN Antibody, clone A60 | MAB377’.
CiteAb lists over 65,000 Santa Cruz antibodies, however, we recently reported that the company has been losing market share overall in recent years. We list over 10,600 antibodies from Millipore.
