One month in – an update on CiteAb

We launched CiteAb exactly a month ago, and what a month it has been! None of us here had launched a project like this before, but the results have been phenomenal and its great to see the site continue to develop and our audience grow every day.

Since its launch, CiteAb has been visited by 12,500 users, from over 900 cities in 68 different countries – speaking 65 different languages. We’re definitely global!

An interesting fact – our most viewed antibody to date has been the GeneTx Mre11 antibody [12D7]. We have 83 citations listed for this antibody so its a popular one and, because we show citation data our users can determine how well it works.

As we enter month two our plans include the continual addition of new antibodies to our site, following conversations with AB companies and new relationships being formed. Our lovely team member Matt is also adding citation data all the time, and maintaining the data already available so that you always get reliable results. Thanks Matt!

We’re also working on some tech updates – we’ll be updating various elements of the search over the next couple of weeks, and also some of the backend features to speed everything up a bit.

We’ve had great feedback in month one, and we’re really grateful to those of you who’ve been in touch. We can only improve and grow CiteAb if we know what works or doesn’t work for you. If there is a function you’d find useful that we’re not featuring please do continue to speak to us, we’re really keen to hear from you.
