  • We introduce the newest member of our team, Tom!
  • Find out about his role at CiteAb
  • Learn a little more about him

The CiteAb team continues to grow! Meet our latest addition, CiteAb’s new developer Tom. We are excited for Tom to get stuck in and help us to expand our development capabilities.

As CiteAb develops, we are collecting more and more quality citation data for all five of our reagent types with our proprietary text mining technology, expanding and improving our data-based product offerings for suppliers and our search tool to help researchers, and forging exciting new partnerships. We want to ensure we are able to continue innovating our tech to power this growth, which Tom will be playing a vital part in!

CiteAb CEO Dr Andrew Chalmers is thrilled to have Tom on board:

“CiteAb’s success totally depends on our amazing team and so I am really delighted to have Tom join us. He not only has the right academic background and development skills, but his enthusiasm and drive is obvious. Plus, he is an amazing cook! All in all we could not be more pleased to have him join us.”

Having previously worked as a developer at a major accounting software company, we are delighted Tom will be applying his well honed skills here at CiteAb to get involved in a variety of development projects.

Tom is excited to be joining CiteAb and applying himself to a new challenge:

I’m really looking forward to working in a tightly knit small team of talented engineers and scientists, and I can’t wait to get knee-deep in CiteAb data and source code.”

Besides crafting code or delving through it, he can be found either cooking something delicious (and nutritious) or climbing a wall somewhere.

We all can’t wait to start working with Tom and getting to know him!
