Cambridge the only UK institution in global top twenty

We have released a new dataset today which highlights the institutions that carry out the most research using antibodies.

The University of Cambridge is the only UK institution to appear on our list of the global top twenty antibody users, claiming 0.60% of total antibody use. The University claims 11.68% of the UK’s research antibody use, with the University of Oxford claiming just 6.81%.

Andrew, founder of CiteAb, said: “As two of the UK’s highest profile institutions, it isn’t necessarily surprising to see Cambridge and Oxford in our top slots for UK research antibody use. What is interesting in the UK is that while globally we see dominance by academic research institutions, here in the UK we have a charity, Cancer Research UK, making it (just!) into our top twenty.”

If you’re interested in obtaining a free sample dataset covering the global top twenty research institutions, simply drop Matt an email (matt@citeab.com). Likewise, companies who’re interested in institutions outside of the top twenty, in specific countries, or in drilling down into details about their market share at each individual institution, should also speak to Matt about obtaining our full institution dataset.
