What are the CiteAb Awards?

The 2023 CiteAb Awards shine a light on the progress in the research reagent sector, and celebrate its positive impact.

High quality research reagents are instrumental in supporting life science research and progress. We believe the efforts from reagent suppliers across the globe in the design, manufacture and delivery of these products deserves recognition, and so we created the CiteAb Awards to do so!

Our awards include a mixture of nomination based categories and data based awards, spanning a broad range of reagent types.

Long standing in the life science sector, the CiteAb Awards will recognise suppliers succeeding with their products, services and initiatives. We will be calling on researchers to let us know which suppliers have impressed them, and asking both suppliers and researchers to nominate individuals who have made a big impact, impressive charitable initiatives, innovative products of note, and stunning published images they’ve seen or produced!

How can I enter in the CiteAb Awards?

To take part in the CiteAb Awards, simply head over to the awards website and choose your category (or categories, there’s no limit on how many awards you can enter in!).

For nomination based awards, follow the instructions on the nomination form to enter in the category. This will normally include your details and a short (<300 word) description of why you, the supplier or individual you are nominating should be named the winner. A successful nomination will include a concise and compelling description of your impact and achievements, backed by evidence or examples. We will be judging the quality of an individual nomination, and not awarding wins based on how many nominations we receive.

You can not nominate in our data-based awards, as these will be determined by our comprehensive citation data.

We will be in touch when the awards close if you have been named as a winner or highly commended in these categories.

Dates for your diaries

The CiteAb Awards are now open for entries, and will be until the 24th February 2023. Get your entries in before this date!

After the awards close, we will determine winners and announce these on our awards website on the 27th March, at 2pm GMT.

We will be presenting award certificates and trophies at AACR on the 14th-19th April 2023.
