Putting the spotlight on our new distributor widget users

Have you seen the CiteAb widget in action? Recently we’ve set up the widget for distributors, so today we’re going to take a look at how they’re using it and the difference it is making to their offering to researchers.

Having really good quality, up to date citations for your products helps customers know that they’ll work in their experiments, but getting hold of them can be time consuming – particularly if you are a distributor who looks after products from many suppliers. Well – the CiteAb widget provides an easy and automated way to get up to date citations direct to your product page.

Example of the widget on BIOKÉs site for Bethyl Laboratories product A300-507A (https://www.bioke.com/webshop/bet/a300-507a.html)

One of our newest widget subscribers is Universal Biologicals – a distributor which has recently started using the widget for Bethyl Laboratories, an existing widget customer, to display on their product pages for both antibodies and ELISA kits.

Elliot Liddle, General Manager, said ‘We have started using the CiteAb widget on our website and it is working very well. Also, the support provided to our technical team in getting it set up was excellent.’

Another distributor which has taken up the widget subscription for Bethyl Laboratories is BIOKÉ, along with the widget for Cell Signaling Technology, who performed admirably in our top cited antibodies of 2017. BIOKÉ list suppliers from a wide variety of reagent types including instruments, proteins and enzymes.

Marjolein Lommers, European e-Business Manager for BIOKÉ, said: “The widget is a professional add-on to our product pages, and meets the needs of our online visitors. The CiteAb team has been very proactive, helpful and fast in their assistance.”
