We are excited to introduce you to CiteAb Unlimited! This service enables private licensing and a download of our comprehensive reagent database for internal use.

CiteAb data has already been used successfully by innovative diagnostic and top 10 pharma companies. We are particularly excited to be officially launching the service to help more of the biotech and pharmaceutical industry.

What is CiteAb Unlimited?

CiteAb Unlimited overview

At CiteAb, we combine AI-driven data collection technology with extensive human reviewing to amalgamate information from terabytes of data in academic publications and vendor datasheets.

By doing so, we have unparalleled insight into the reagents available around the world, their experimental context, and how they link to specific targets and diseases.

With a CiteAb Unlimited subscription, experimental information can be downloaded and used privately. Data can power generative AI projects, databases and knowledge graphs, and be used to select the right products

What makes Unlimited different?

What differentiates the Unlimited service to others out there is the ability to use our reagent database with complete flexibility. The service enables you to integrate your internal databases, to ensure all your organisation’s data is in one place. Data can also be fed into the data visualisation tools you actually use or that are being built to meet your specific needs.

How much reagent data do we have in our database?

Currently, we hold data on over 14 million reagents.

This number is constantly increasing, as we collect more data from the literature and from suppliers. Below is an overview of our reagent data collective for antibodies, biochemicals, kits &assays, proteins and experimental models.

How can I use CiteAb Unlimited?

We launched this service to help scientists reduce time-consuming manual tasks in experimentation, make better, data-driven decisions and improve research outcomes.

Below, we’ve identified a number of challenges our clients and researcher users face, and show how CiteAb Unlimited can help.

1. Automate manual searching

Are you spending hours searching for antibodies against a list of targets?

Did you know that the average antibody search takes between 5-10 hours? This equates to between $400-800 in cost.

Trawling through mountains of publication data and supplier sites takes the focus away from research. It can result in available products being missed or clones being selected that aren’t fit for purpose.

By using our database in your own analysis tools, such as tableau or PowerBI, you can set up high-throughput searches for thousands of targets. You will be able to see available products from hundreds of suppliers, narrow down products by 45+ experimental filters, and easily procure the right product. This reduces reagent selection to seconds.

2. Data standardisation

Are you populating internal databases and publications manually?

Entering standardised product information into your methods sections, protocol stores, lab notebooks and more is a time-sink. However, this practice is essential to enable data sharing across large organisations.

Unlimited can help streamline this process by providing a comprehensive database of antibodies, and other reagents, in a consistent structured format.

You can use this data to auto-fill your databases (such as protocol stores), lists (such as method section content in publications) and records (such as ELNS).

3. Enhance knowledge graphs

A data visualisation tool is only as powerful as the data it is built upon; without good reagent data a knowledge graph can struggle to provide insights into which targets are most tractable.

Adding CiteAb reagent data into knowledge graphs gives a powerful and comprehensive layer of detail. Importantly, it can enable faster connections between diseases, targets of interest and tools for validation.

4. Powering AI tools

How are you acquiring the data to power your AI projects?

Insight is essential to drive innovation. Ensuring that the generative AI tools you are building have a quality data foundation ensures you get the right outcome.

By using the world’s largest collective of reagent data, novel connections can be made and better results generated from science chatbots and generative AI tools.

Plus, outsourcing data collection to us can remove one of the biggest time hurdles in this process.

What is the difference between the CiteAb search engine and CiteAb Unlimited?

You may have already tried out our search engine to access our antibody database and help find the right reagent (if not, make a free account here to try it out!)

Unlimited takes the power of the search engine to another level by enabling its use in your internal projects.

It is also invaluable if you are using lots of antibodies or other reagents in your work and are currently using CiteAb for reagent selection, as panel searching can be set up.

Here’s an overview of the key differences:
